Ambulance Crashes After Deer Cross Road in Mifflin Township
MANSFIELD – Early this afternoon, a Mifflin Township Fire ambulance responding to a call veered off the road after several deer reportedly ran into its path along Koogle Road.
The ambulance left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mansfield hospital.
Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to investigate the crash, along with Madison Township Fire and additional Mifflin Township Fire personnel.
No patients were onboard the ambulance at the time of the incident.
