ASHLAND, OH — The skies over Ashland are about to come alive in a spectacular swirl of color, fire, and music as the 2025 Ashland BalloonFest officially kicks off today, marking 35 incredible years of balloon-powered magic.
What began in 1990 as a community celebration has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated summer events — and this year’s milestone festival promises to be the most exciting one yet.
From the moment the first balloon lifts off this evening to the dazzling Balloon Glow after dark, this beloved event will thrill visitors of all ages with sky-high adventure, family fun, and non-stop entertainment.

Watch skilled pilots harness shifting winds to steer massive balloons toward precision targets in thrilling displays of aerial navigation.
🌌 Balloon Glow Spectacle
