The event is an eagerly awaited tradition for local hunters and families, offering an opportunity to secure hunting rights for the upcoming season in designated park district areas.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the first draw for deer hunting permits beginning promptly at 6 p.m. A separate draw for waterfowl hunting will immediately follow.
Entry Details:
General Lottery Fee: $10 (cash only)
Youth Lottery: Free of charge
Parents or guardians of youth hunters who are unable to attend may still enter the youth in the lottery by providing proof of a valid hunting license. However, youth who wish to participate in the general lottery must be present — no exceptions will be made.
The ACPD encourages both seasoned sportsmen and young hunters to take part in this fair and exciting system for assigning limited hunting access within the park district.
