The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance following a reported incident of property damage involving an elderly resident in the Redhaw area.
According to Deputy Kyle Pidgeon with the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of property damage on January 4, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m. The incident was captured in part by a Ring doorbell camera at the residence.

Deputy Pidgeon emphasized the importance of community involvement in resolving the case.
“As everyone knows, I like to ask for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons involved,” Pidgeon said. “This may not be the crime of the century, but to this lady, it’s important. She would like answers.”
The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone who may recognize the vehicle or have information related to the incident to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Kyle Pidgeon at the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office at (419) 289-3911.
