Ashland Police Investigate Shooting Incident
The Ashland Police Division is investigating a shooting that happened in the parking lot of the Wagon Wheel, located at 255 Orange Road, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 1:28 a.m.
David Struckoff, 25, of Nova, Ohio, was taken into custody at the scene. He is currently being held in the Ashland County Jail on a charge of Felonious Assault, pending a case review by the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office.
A male victim, an Ashland resident, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was transported by ambulance to Ohio Health in Mansfield. He underwent surgery and is now recovering. A handgun was collected during the investigation.
Personnel from the Ashland Police Division responded quickly to locate those involved and secure the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and there are currently no safety concerns for the community.
