Ashland County Fair Antique Judging

There were many participants this year, for the Antique show, so many beautiful and unique pieces, it was difficult to choose a winner in each category. The antiques were judged by grouping similar pieces together and choosing the best in each category. The first category in line is Flow Blue porcelain dating back to the 1820’s. The winners of this category are, in 1st place, Janis Miguel DeLeon, 2nd place, Mori Hirst, and 3rd place Tammy Brockway.

Westmoreland Glass, dating back to the late 1800’s, the 1st place winner Mori Hirst, 2nd place to Cheri Denney, and 3rd place is awarded to Katie Hutson.

Burmese glass is unique for its pink blush color. There is a 1st place winner Mori Hirst and 2nd place winner, Cheri Denney.

Teapot-China or Porcelain, beautiful pieces in this group, and we have three winners. First place winner is Mori Hirst, 2nd place winner is Beth Chepote, and 3rd place winner is Marline Smart.

Next to the porcelain teapots is the Fan Vase. The 1st place winner of the Fan Vase is Sandra Tunnell, 2nd place, Roma Bantz, and 3rd place winner is Mori Hirst.
