Crash Closes State Route 60 Near Hayesville Yesterday Evening
Hayesville— Around 7:06 p.m. Wednesday evening, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 60 that temporarily shut down the roadway for nearly an hour.
According to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Suzanne Monrow, 49, of Ashland, was traveling southbound on State Route 60 when she failed to negotiate a curve and struck a 2015 Toyota Prius driven by Martin Stehli, 40, of Loudonville, who was heading northbound.
Stehli and his passenger were transported to Ohio-Health Mansfield Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, troopers said.
The Highway Patrol reported that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. Monrow was cited for a marked lanes violation.
Responding agencies included the Jeromesville Fire Department and EMS, Hayesville Fire Department and EMS, the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
