10th Ashland County Veterans Appreciation Day Schedule

11 a.m. – Opening Ceremony

12-12:15 p.m. – Complimentary Cookout

1-1:45 p.m. – Ken Hammontree

2 p.m. – The Rat Pack

4 p.m. – The Stan Davis Quintet

7-9:15 p.m. – The Bottom Line Band (Please Bring your lawn chair)

(Please DO NOT bring your pets, service dogs are welcome)

9:15 p.m. – Fireworks

******The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall Information******

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall is open to the public for viewing will remain available to the public 24/7, until Sunday, August 6th, 2023, at 3pm, at which time closing ceremony will begin.

The closing ceremony will be held from 3pm until 3:15pm. Teardown and packing will begin immediately after the closing ceremony. Volunteers are needed for setup and teardown.

Aug. 4: Traveling Tribute Wall open all day.

Aug. 5: Traveling Tribute Wall open all day in conjunction with Veterans Appreciation Day 10th Anniversary.

Aug. 6: Open till 3 p.m. Closing ceremony will be conducted by Chaplain Whitmore, with flag fold by the Ashland Honor Guard.

Tim Chandler said, “We still need help during the day helping people find names on the wall, and security at night. Please contact me if you are interested.”
