Road Closure on Township Road 707 Postponed to Early June for Culvert Replacement

ASHLAND COUNTY – The Ashland County Engineer’s Office has announced a revised schedule for the upcoming culvert replacement project on Township Road 707 in Green Township.

Originally slated for late May, the road closure has now been postponed. According to Kelly Hickey, Administrative Assistant and Safety Coordinator for the Engineer’s Office, a portion of Township Road 707 will now be closed from Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5.
The closure will affect the stretch of road between Township Road 2475 and County Road 2404, specifically between house numbers 2422 and 2402.

Barring any unforeseen delays, the road is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Thursday, June 5. Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes during the construction period and to exercise caution near the work zone.
