Hillsdale LifeWise to Host “Evening of Impact” Dinner in Ashland

ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The community is being invited to gather for a night of inspiration, fellowship, and community support as LifeWise Academy prepares to host its 2026 Hillsdale LifeWise “Evening of Impact.”

The event will take place on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Mount Vernon Estate, 1041 U.S. Route 250 in Ashland. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Organizers say the evening will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the LifeWise program, hear inspiring stories, and help support Bible education opportunities for Hillsdale students.

The Hillsdale LifeWise “Evening of Impact” is designed to bring the community together while highlighting the work being done through the local LifeWise Academy program.

“Join us for an awesome in-person gathering at the Hillsdale LifeWise ‘Evening of Impact,’” organizers said. “It’s a great chance to connect, build new community relationships, learn about the program, and see the amazing work happening in our community.”

The evening will feature inspiring and potentially life-changing stories from guest speaker Josh Sorrell of Margaretta, Ohio LifeWise. Sorrell also appeared in the LifeWise documentary “Off School Property,” which was shown in theaters and is now streaming on the Angel Studios app.

Organizers say the event will include several meaningful moments throughout the evening, along with opportunities for attendees to support the continued growth of the Hillsdale LifeWise chapter.

Zane Gross, who helps lead the Hillsdale LifeWise effort, said the program is already making a strong impact in the district.

“We are having our first annual Night of Impact fundraising dinner,” Gross said. “It costs about $35,000 to operate LifeWise for one school year, which covers the nine months students are in school.”

Currently, about 130 Hillsdale students participate in the program, with significant potential for continued growth.

“We’re looking to raise funds to sustain LifeWise and grow LifeWise in the Hillsdale district,” Gross said. “We’ve got a vision and some goals to elevate the classroom experience for the students.”

A Bruschetta Chicken and Roast Beef dinner will be served during the evening, providing time for guests to enjoy fellowship and learn more about the program.

While the dinner and event are free to attend, the evening serves as a fundraising opportunity to help sustain and expand LifeWise Academy locally.

“It is a fundraising event,” Gross said. “We’re hoping that the Lord will move people’s hearts to support LifeWise moving forward.”

The Mount Vernon Estate event center has a capacity of 250 attendees, and organizers say tickets have been claimed quickly.

Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance through Eventbrite by searching for the Hillsdale LifeWise “Evening of Impact.”

Secure your free ticket now,” Gross said. “Seats are limited, and you don’t want to miss this special evening where every moment counts for our Falcon students’ LifeWise experience.”

LifeWise Academy provides Bible education for public school students during school hours through released-time programs across the country.
