Joint Law Enforcement Effort Leads to Arrest of Armed Robbery Suspect
Medina County, OH – The Medina County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Brunswick Division of Police have arrested Blaine Miller, of Lakewood, Ohio, who was linked to two separate armed robbery incidents at businesses—one in Liverpool Township, and another in Brunswick, Ohio. He is currently being held in the Medina County Jail and faces multiple counts of Aggravated Robbery.
The apprehension follows a coordinated investigation that began shortly after the crimes were reported in each jurisdiction. Both incidents involved the presence of a semi-automatic firearm, prompting immediate concern for public safety. The collaboration between the two agencies proved instrumental in identifying and locating the suspect. Through shared intelligence and investigative resources, law enforcement was able to track the individual’s movements across both jurisdictions.
Medina County Sheriff Terry Grice and Chief Robert Safran, of the Brunswick Division of Police, commend the teamwork and dedication of the officers involved. “This case is a prime example of how strong interagency cooperation leads to overall community safety,” said Sheriff Grice. “We take crimes involving firearms and the safety of our public very seriously, and we will continue to work closely with our partners to keep our communities secure,” Chief Safran added.
