LifeWise Expands Programming to Ashland High School Students with New Credit-Earning Courses

ASHLAND, OH — LifeWise Ashland City is expanding its reach in the local school community, offering new academic opportunities for high school students beginning soon.

I was able to speak with LifeWise Ashland City Director Mary Dolce, who shared the organization’s exciting announcement. LifeWise, which currently provides character training classes with a biblical perspective to all K–8 students in the Ashland community, has received approval to extend its programming to the high school level.

Following recent meetings with Ashland City School District administration and approval from the school board, LifeWise will now offer off-campus high school classes that allow students to earn a full Social Studies credit.

Under the new program, high school students will be able to enroll in Biblical Worldview I and Biblical Worldview II, taught over four semesters. The structure allows students to earn up to two full Social Studies credits during their four years of high school, regardless of the grade level at which they begin the program.

Classes will be held off campus at Southview Grace Brethren Church, located on Katherine Avenue in Ashland.

Dolce said additional details about scheduling and coursework will be released in the near future. However, enrollment for the new high school program is now open.

Families interested in learning more or enrolling their students are encouraged to watch for upcoming announcements from LifeWise Ashland City.
