Welcome to Ashland: New Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Joins the Force
The Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is welcoming a new face to the team — Trooper Thompson, who recently graduated from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy on June 20, 2025, as part of Class 176.
Sergeant Daniel Kumor (1459), Assistant Post Commander, commented,
“Trooper Thompson just graduated the OSP Academy on 06/20/2025 as a member of Class 176. He is 26 years old and is originally from West Salem, Ohio.”
With his new assignment here in Ashland County, Trooper Thompson is eager to serve the community and uphold the proud tradition of the Patrol. Residents are encouraged to give him a warm Ashland welcome when they see him out on patrol.
If you spot him on the road or around town, be sure to say hello and thank him for his service!
