ODOT Announces Multiple Road Projects Across Ashland County
ASHLAND COUNTY – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has released its latest list of roadway construction projects set to impact drivers across Ashland County in the coming weeks. All work is weather-dependent and subject to schedule changes.

Current and Upcoming Projects

U.S. Route 42 Culvert Replacement – U.S. 42 between State Route 603 and County Road 1475 is down to one lane for a culvert replacement project. Traffic is being maintained by flaggers. Work is expected to wrap up by the end of August 2025.

State Route 95 Minor Rehabilitation – Crews are working on SR 95 from SR 60 to just west of Snoddy Road. The project includes resurfacing and bridge repairs, with single-lane closures in effect. Flaggers are directing traffic. Completion is scheduled for October 2025.

State Route 511 Minor Rehabilitation – SR 511 from SR 302 to just north of Baseline Road will see similar resurfacing and bridge repairs. Single-lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic will be in place. The project is expected to finish in October 2025.

State Route 511 Culvert Replacement – SR 511, just south of Baseline Road, reopened to traffic on Friday, August 8, following a culvert replacement. Some minor work remains, and flaggers may be present as needed. Full completion is anticipated by August 2025.
