“Ignite the Night” Worship Event Returns to Ashland High School

ASHLAND — A powerful night of worship, testimony, and spiritual challenge is coming to Ashland High School as “Ignite the Night” returns for 2026, bringing together middle- and high-school students from across the region for an evening designed to spark faith, unity, and revival.

The youth worship event will be held Wednesday, January 28, in the Little Theater at Ashland High School, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the program running from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is open to students in grades 6–12 and is centered on creating an environment where young people can encounter God in a meaningful and personal way.

“Ignite the Night” will feature high-energy worship led by Word of Life, an inspiring message, and testimonies aimed at encouraging students to live out their faith boldly.

Guest speaker Bobby Brown, associate pastor at Bethel Chapel, will deliver the evening’s message. Brown, who has helped lead Ignite events in the past, says the night is about hope, transformation, and responding to the message of Jesus Christ.

“We’re going to dive into God’s Word and see how we can find hope in the person of Jesus Christ,” Brown said. “How our lives today can be changed by what He did—most importantly on the cross and in the empty tomb.”

The event is being hosted by Chris Lopez, Student Ministries Pastor at Bethel Chapel, and Nate Meiers, Associate Pastor of Students & Families at Grace. Together, they are inviting students, youth groups, and friends from throughout the community to come expecting something powerful.

“We’re worshiping together by singing praises, by hearing testimonies from college students, and by hearing a message that has impacted thousands of lives,” Lopez said. “This is a night you don’t want to miss.”

Organizers say the evening will conclude with a clear challenge to students, offering two responses: one to place their faith in Jesus Christ, and another to commit to living out that faith daily and sharing it with others.

“This night is for you—and for the friends you’ve been praying for,” organizers shared. “Bring them with you. Come ready. Leave changed.”

The 2026 event builds on the success of last year’s Ignite Worship Night, which brought together multiple churches and youth groups in a unified night of worship, fellowship, and community impact. Organizers say the heart behind Ignite remains the same: uniting local churches, lifting up Jesus, and encouraging the next generation to live out their faith with purpose.

Registration is now open and can be completed online at:

Students and youth leaders are encouraged to register early, invite friends, and be part of a night that aims to ignite faith across the Ashland community.
