Ontario Police Department Press Release
Ontario, Ohio — The Ontario Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the area of Lexington — Springmill Road and US 30.
Officers responded to the incident and took the suspected shooter into custody without further incident. The individual who was shot was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), was called to assist the Ontario Police Department. This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available at this time.
