The Ashland Kroc Youth Theatre Debuts First Broadway Revue, ‘Pure Imagination’ at The Ashland Theatre April 24 & 26
ASHLAND, Ohio – Mid-Ohio, you are cordially invited to step into a world of wonder with “Pure Imagination!” Presented by The Salvation Army Ashland Kroc Center’s Youth Theatre program on Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m., this brand-new musical revue bursts to life with showstopping songs from MTI’s Broadway Junior® collection.
Debuting their first Broadway revue at The Ashland Theatre, 212 Center St., Ashland, The Ashland Kroc Center Youth Theatre will bring to the stage unforgettable favorites from Seussical, Shrek The Musical, and Disney hits like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen.
Over 40 local, young performing and backstage artists from Ashland, Mansfield and other surrounding communities are coming together for this joyful celebration of creativity, storytelling, and pure theatrical magic.

Plus, special guest stars Payne Schwartz and Emma Henderson of Ontario from The Ashland Kroc Center’s Youth Theatre’s production of “Shrek The Musical, Jr.” will be joining the troupe for one last encore performance.
The production of “Pure Imagination” is being led by Directors Majors Billy and Annalise Francis, and Stage Manager Amy Morgan.

Major Billy adds, “Pure Imagination aligns well with The Ashland Kroc Youth Theatre program’s holistic approach to learning vocal, acting, movement, and stage techniques, as well as the process of being part of a production from start to performance.
