Two Semis Involved in Early-Morning Crash on I-71 in Ashland County
ASHLAND COUNTY — Two semi-trucks were involved in a rear-end crash early Thursday morning on Interstate 71 northbound near the 180 mile marker.
According to information from the scene, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Aber’s Towing & Crane Service responded to the crash at approximately 3 a.m. One semi reportedly struck the rear of another in the northbound lanes.
Minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Traffic was impacted while crews worked to clear the scene and remove the damaged vehicles.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
