Violent Domestic Loudonville Press Release
On 06/03/2025 at approximately 12:05pm, the Loudonville Police Department was dispatched to a violent domestic assault in progress in the 700 block of North Market Street. Medical assistance from Loudonville EMS was requested while the officers were enroute.
The first two Loudonville officers on scene were able to subdue the suspect with their tasers. Once he was secured and in custody, officers located the victim of the assault in the residence.
Loudonville EMS arrived minutes later.
The victim of the assault was transported to a helipad by Loudonville EMS and then flown to Summa Hospital in Akron with life threatening injuries.
The suspect was transported by a separate Loudonville squad to UH Samaritan Hospital under police supervision. Once he was medically cleared, he was taken to the Ashland County Jail.
Due to the nature of the injuries to the victim, multiple outside agencies were requested to respond to assist.

The above agencies assisted the Loudonville Police Department with the execution of a search warrant at the residence. The agencies also helped with crime scene processing, witness interviews, and evidence collection.
