A King’s Meal at a Pauper’s Price: Yoder’s Red Barn Keeps the Treats Coming Until November 15

Fall may be here, but Yoder’s Red Barn Ice Cream isn’t ready to put the scoops out to pasture. The business remains open until November 15, giving hungry customers plenty of time to enjoy a hearty meal, and then explain why dessert was absolutely necessary.

Recent menu specials include the Barnyard Barbecue Burger, a meal fit for a king, especially with a cup of cheddar bites on the side. No crown required. Just bring an appetite and perhaps a few extra napkins.

Of course, visiting an ice cream shop and skipping the ice cream would raise some serious questions about your decision-making.

Among the recent additions are a Nerds Flurry, blueberry milkshakes, and black raspberry shakes. With choices like those, “What should I order?” could become the toughest question of the day.

Coffee lovers also have a delicious dilemma: vanilla, mocha or caramel coffee shakes. Finally, a reason to say, “I’m just stopping for coffee,” and return with something that requires a straw and a smile.

Then there’s the pumpkin roll sundae, because apparently pumpkin roll wasn’t already doing enough damage to our willpower. Add ice cream, and suddenly fall tastes even better.

But my personal favorite remains the banana split.

It has fruit, which gives me just enough confidence to pretend I made a responsible choice. Please allow me to enjoy that theory without asking too many questions.

Whether you’re looking for a Barnyard Barbecue Burger, cheddar bites or a sweet treat, Yoder’s Red Barn has plenty of reasons to stop before November 15.

A king’s meal at a pauper’s price, and a banana split worthy of a royal appointment.
