20-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash Near Shiloh
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 20-year-old Plymouth woman suffered serious injuries after being ejected from a vehicle during a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday afternoon in Richland County.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:12 p.m. to 7146 Guthrie Rd Shiloh, Ohio, about two-tenths of a mile north of Caster Road.
According to preliminary information from the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2009 Ford Escape southbound on Guthrie Road when the vehicle went off the roadway, sliding Sideways, coming back on the road and rolled over.
The driver was ejected during the crash. She was transported to Ohio-Health Mansfield Hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Shiloh Fire Department and Shiloh EMS responded to the scene.
The circumstances that caused the driver to lose control remain under investigation. The patrol had not released the woman’s name Saturday afternoon, and no citations or charges had been filed at the time information was provided.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol
