Help Fill a Cruiser and Support Local Families at Ashland’s “Cram the Cruiser” Event

ASHLAND — A few extra items in your shopping cart could help make a difference for neighbors in need when the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Ashland Post 03 hosts “Cram the Cruiser” on Sunday, November 1.

The donation drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ashland Walmart, 1996 E. Main St. All donations will benefit Associated Charities of Ashland County.

The goal is simple: stuff a cruiser full of nonperishable food and household essentials to support local families.

Suggested food donations include cereal, spaghetti noodles and canned spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, beef or chicken, crackers, ramen noodles, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, jelly, ketchup and mustard.

Organizers are also requesting toilet paper, dish soap and hygiene products.

Whether residents bring a single item or a bag full of supplies, the drive offers an opportunity to turn an everyday shopping trip into an act of community kindness.

Mark your calendar, pick up a few essentials and help Ashland cram the cruiser for a good cause.
