Loudonville Police Cite Two for Disorderly Conduct, Assist in Pursuit During Weekly Calls
LOUDONVILLE, Ohio — Loudonville police cited two people for disorderly conduct and assisted with a vehicle pursuit during the week of Sept. 20–27, according to the department’s call log.
On Sept. 22, officers responded to a business in the 300 block of West Main Street after a report of a highly intoxicated man causing problems. Following an investigation, police cited a 34-year-old Mount Vernon man for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
The next day, police were notified of a fight that had occurred Sept. 22 in the 400 block of Campus Drive. After investigating, officers cited an 18-year-old Loudonville woman for disorderly conduct.
At 10:20 p.m. Sept. 26, Loudonville police assisted the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle pursuit traveling west on State Route 39 into Loudonville. Loudonville officers eventually ended their involvement without apprehending anyone, the log states.
Officers also responded to several mental health calls. On Sept. 24, police transported a man from the 200 block of North Water Street to a hospital for an evaluation. On Sept. 26, police and EMS transported a woman from the same block to a hospital. Police and EMS took a man to a hospital after responding to a residence in the 600 block of North Union Street on Sept. 27.
Other calls included a domestic disturbance on North Union Street on Sept. 21, after which police took no further action, and an open door discovered during a business check on West Main Street on Sept. 23. Officers checked the business and notified a keyholder. Police also assisted EMS with medical calls, helped disabled motorists and responded to a burglary alarm that proved to be unfounded.
The department reported 30 business checks and 16 traffic stops that resulted in warnings during the period. Officers also issued citations for speeding and vehicle registration violations.
