State Route 13 to Close for Railroad Crossing Repairs in Huron County
HURON COUNTY, OH — Motorists traveling through Huron County should prepare for a temporary closure of State Route 13 beginning Thursday, Aug. 27.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, State Route 13 will close at the railroad tracks between U.S. Route 224 and Alpha Road while CSX Transportation completes repairs to the railroad crossing.
The posted detour will take motorists from State Route 13 north to U.S. Route 224 east, then to U.S. Route 250 west and back to State Route 13. The route will be reversed for traffic traveling in the opposite direction.
The work is expected to be completed, and the roadway reopened, by Friday, Aug. 28, weather and conditions permitting.
