State Route 60 to Close for Culvert Replacement in Ashland County
ASHLAND COUNTY — Motorists traveling through Ashland County should prepare for a monthlong closure of State Route 60 beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that State Route 60 will close between County Road 1775 and County Road 1600 while crews replace a culvert.
The posted detour will take motorists along State Route 60 south to State Route 511 south, U.S. Route 30 east and back to State Route 60. The same route will be followed in reverse for traffic traveling in the opposite direction.
Drivers should allow additional travel time and use caution throughout the construction area.
The project is expected to be completed Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. The schedule remains subject to change because of weather or unforeseen construction delays.
