Local Author Jennifer Lyons to Hold Book Signing at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn
ASHLAND — Local children’s author Jennifer Lyons will meet readers and sign books Saturday, Sept. 5, at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn in Ashland.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. outside under the pavilion. Visitors will have an opportunity to speak with Lyons and purchase signed copies of three of her children’s books.
The featured books include:
“Stinky Bowfinky and His Dirty Dog Dew,” a story about entertaining angels unaware.
“Crystal Clear Answer to Prayer,” which follows a little girl whose prayer for a turtle is answered.
“Freedom Frog: How Freddie Got a New Name,” a story about overcoming fear.
Lyons will also offer a preview of her upcoming book, “When Whoflusters You What Do You Do?” The book addresses the drug epidemic in a way intended to help children understand and cope with the issue.
“Stinky Bowfinky and His Dirty Dog Dew” is currently available for presale at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn. All three published books are available at Planktown Country Market and through online retailers, including Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Amazon.
Community members are invited to stop by the pavilion, meet Lyons and learn more about the messages behind her children’s stories.
Grandpa’s Cheesebarn is is located at 668 U.S. Route 250 East in Ashland. The book signing runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.
