Color Fun Walk/Run ’26
In honor of Foster Care Appreciation Month and 10 years of ministry, Fostering Family Ministries is hosting a Color Fun 1 mile Walk & 5K Fun Run on May 16th at Freer Field 1264 Center Street Ashland, OH 44805

Everyone is invited to participate in the 6th Annual Color Fun 1 mile walk or 5K fun run at Freer Field 1264 Center Street Ashland, OH 44805.
Raise $25 in donations and you will receive an FFM Color Fun T-shirt to show off the colorful powder thrown from the color stations along the route. Strollers & wheelchairs are welcome. In addition to the Color Walk/Run, come enjoy bounce houses, face painting, bubbles and more. It’s fun for the whole family! As we celebrate children and families in foster care, we will be raising donations to support the work of Fostering Family Ministries to serve vulnerable children and families in foster care. A generous donor has provided a matching challenge up to $40,000. Help us meet this goal and double every dollar!
Over the past 10 years we have seen an incredible increase in the number of supported foster families who have helped the community keep pace with the needs of children in foster care. Churches & communities are stepping up to provide support to foster and kinship families. Our partnerships reach Ashland, Richland, Knox, Medina, Huron, Wayne, and more counties allowing us to support children in your community.

Fostering Family Ministries Boiler Plate
Located in north-central Ohio, Fostering Family Ministries exists to motivate, organize, and equip churches and community partners to serve the needs of foster children in their community. Founded in Ashland County in 2016, FFM has expanded to include counties across North Central Ohio with a growing coalition of churches and community supporters. FFM seeks to continue to cultivate foster care ministry within churches until there are more than enough loving families and care teams for vulnerable children and families in foster care.
