Fatal Crash Reported on State Route 94 in Sharon Township
MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio — A Medina County man died Wednesday after authorities say he suffered a medical emergency while driving and crashed into a residence in Sharon Township.
According to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026, to a single-vehicle crash in the 7700 block of State Route 94, also known as Ridge Road.
Investigators said the crash involved a 2019 Ford F-350 driven by 56-year-old Michael Kellish. Preliminary findings indicate Kellish was traveling northbound on State Route 94 when he experienced a medical emergency.
The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a residence.
Kellish, who was the only occupant of the truck, was transported by Sharon EMS to Summa Health Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were the Wadsworth Police Department, Sharon Fire and Rescue, and the Medina County All Hazards Structural Collapse Team.
