Greenwich Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Ashland County

 

CLEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Ashland County.

According to troopers, the crash happened June 21, 2026, at approximately 12:07 a.m. near the intersection of State Route 545 and Township Road 856 in Clear Creek Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Britany A. Bikauskas, 38, of Greenwich, was driving a 2009 white Buick LaCrosse southbound on State Route 545 when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. Troopers said, Bikauskas overcorrected, went off the left side of the road, and the vehicle overturned.

Bikauskas was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the patrol. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Fire Division, Savannah Volunteer Fire Company, and 3 Sons Towing & Recovery.
