Ashland’s Own Tom’s Kitchen Table Rocks the Band Shell in 10th Anniversary Celebration
ASHLAND, OH – Ashland, Ohio’s hometown stars, Tom’s Kitchen Table – the powerhouse 4-man band affectionately known as “TKT” – lit up the Guy C. Myers Memorial Band Shell this weekend with a night that will be talked about all summer long.
In true hometown fashion, the celebration kicked off with none other than Mayor Matt Miller himself stepping onto the stage to introduce the band. Not that the packed crowd of fans needed any introduction – after all, TKT has been the soundtrack of Ashland summers for a decade. The night marked their 10th anniversary of bringing foot-stomping, high-energy performances to their hometown and beyond.
From the first strum to the final encore, the atmosphere was electric. Couples swayed, kids danced up front, and the crowd sang along under the hot summer sky. Tom’s Kitchen Table – made up of Michael Kruman, Chad Lemon, Drew Plank, and Ben Smith – delivered the kind of performance that reminds everyone why small-town bands can leave such a big impact.
Rooted in Ohio heartland, TKT embodies everything their name suggests: music born around a kitchen table, crafted by friends, and shared with everyone lucky enough to listen. Ten years later, their sound has only grown stronger – a perfect mix of heartfelt melodies, high-octane jams, and the authentic camaraderie that only comes from four friends doing what they love.
If Sunday night proved anything, it’s that Tom’s Kitchen Table isn’t just Ashland’s band – they’re Ashland’s pride. And with a decade now behind them, the only question left is: how loud will they make the next ten years?
