Serious Injury Crash Under Investigation in Ontario
ONTARIO, Ohio — The Ontario Police Department is investigating a serious injury crash that happened Thursday afternoon on State Route 309 near Pearl Street.
According to a June 11 press release from Ontario Police Chief Tommy D. Hill, the crash occurred at approximately 4:52 p.m. and involved a motor vehicle and a person riding a bicycle.
Ontario Police and the Springfield Township Fire Department responded to the scene. State Route 309 was temporarily closed while officers investigated the crash with assistance from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Police said the crash remains an active investigation, and no further details are being released at this time.
